- Not a full time counsel of gov, not barred from private service but cannot do anything without permission from GoI.
- Assisted by Solicitor and Addnl Solicitor General of India - Law officers of GoI, not mentioned in Art 76, only office of Attorney General is created by constitution.

Advocate General of State
Advocate general does the same but on state level and is legal employee of governor.
Rest everything is same (appointment, removal, renumeration, resignation)
